So busy, but we're not complaining

A busy day & night...

Our ceramic sweet-themed tableware arrived today. Designed by Martha Mitchell based in Hove, we now have some of her beautiful cake stands, mugs, teacup and saucers on sale, they make wonderful gifts.

Katie Leamon popped in with a range of her really cute greeting cards, all hand-drawn and then stamped on to beautiful textured card. Available in Sweet Tooth at £4.50 each.


Interior designer & Stylist Kodi from Rejuvenate helped us visually re-merchandise our sweetie shop. It's looking good. What do you think?

Also this evening until 10pm we were joined by 'Candie's Cupcakes' and 'The Pastry Chef' with lots of tasty goodies at Sweet Tooth.

In addition Brick Box will delight everyone with entertainment in the Village tonight.

Anna's Cupcakes

We had the pleasure of Anna’s Cupcakes at Sweet Tooth. On sale were carrot cake with lashings of cream topping, chocolate rocky road, strawberry and more. Everyone agreed they were very tasty and we're not surprised that they sold out before the night ended!!

Theo's Cupcakes

'Cakes by Theo' are now available in Sweet Tooth.

Theo creates and hand crafts novelty cakes, cookies and biscuits. Today she has supplied us with her Cocktail Liqueur cupcakes - zesty Limoncello; fruity Grand Marnier & Chocolate; & spicy Caribbean Rum. Easter Exuberance

At the exciting 'Easter Exuberance Event' in the Village, there was lots to do. Egg painting, Easter egg hunting, Easter card making and a whole lot of other crafts going on. We had a few easter eggs hidden in and around Sweet Tooth, can you spot them?

January Joy

Tomorrow is 'A Tasty January' event in The Village. Sweet Tooth are hosting a tasting of Caribbean Tamarind Balls and Hot Ginger Sweets from Ghana.

In addition we are having a cake drawing competition with the winner taking home a jar filled with sweets of their choice.

Life in the Village

After getting through a great Christmas and settling into village life Sweet Tooth have entered 2010, a brand new year and exciting time.

We are getting to know our neighbours including 'Brixton Cornercopia' a deli serving a mean lunch menu and own brand chutney's, sauces using locally source produce, 'Leftovers', a shop with antique fashions and vintage finds, also fish mongers, hairdressers and others.

In all the excitement, we forgot to take photos of our opening. But did manage to take a few featuring the cameraman and interviewer who were filming for the night. Here's one of them tucking into a 'Dip Dab'.

Sweet Tooth...the sweetie shop...

The decision has been made to go with Sweet Tooth... very excited. We are just now planning the shop layout, researching, visiting factories, having fun selecting candy, tasting chocolate from Canada and Japan and of course working very hard. We will be open in 2 weeks time!!
